| Duties and Responsibilities: Our client is seeking an individual with 5+ years experience managing UNIX systems and 3+years managing Solaris 2.x. Candidate must have experience managing systems running a significant mix of the following services: FTP, HTTP, IRC, Sendmail, DNS, Firewalls. Candidate must have shell scripting experience (KSH, PERL, Expect). Candidate must have demonstrated experience with architecting and managing network infrastructure, including Cisco Routers and IP Load Balancing Devices (Big IP preferred). Requirements: Experience with performance tuning and system security (SSH, SCP) is critical to this position. Experience with system supporting Oracle, Apache, and general 3-tier distributed application a plus. Having a personality is not required but definitely preferred.
