| Duties and Responsibilities: Our client is seeking an individual with 4+ years experience developing and/or administering complex web sites. This position will be responsible for managing the publishing of content from the development environment through QA to the live environment. This individual will also be responsible for the usage collection and log processing procedures. This individual, although not responsible for the development of the site's content, will be involved in that development early on in order to have input on operational issues. This position will work very closely with the content developers as well as the UNIX systems and Oracle database administrators. The position will also be responsible for performance and capacity planning issues. This position will be on call 7x24 and will be the first point of contact for reporting and trouble shooting site functionality problems. Requirements: Candidate must have experience with Web operations utilizing a 3-Tier application architecture. Candidate must have 3+ years experience with Sun Solaris 2.x. Candidate must be capable of automating tasks using cron and shell scripting. Experience with Oracle and Windows NT a plus. Salary: $65,000, full medical, stock options PAID RELOCATION |
