| Duties and Responsibilities: Our client is seeking an individual with 4+ years managing corporate servers and desktops. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance and troubleshooting of a mixed Windows 98, NT 4.0 and Macintosh desktop environment with an NT 4.0 server back-end. Candidate must be well versed in basic TCP/IP networking on the WAN as well as the LAN, including the configuring and maintenance of Cisco switches and routers. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, self motivated, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral. In addition to managing vendors and contract employees, this position will also supervise and prioritize the activities of at least 1 other staff tech. Must be capable of producing system configurations and procedural documentation, including preparing Visio network diagrams. Experience with a significant mix of the following is required: Windows NT 4.0 Security Practices Exchange Server (Email & Voice Mail ) T-1 Networking (TCP/IP) DSL Cisco Router / Switch PC Hardware / Software Installation & Troubleshooting MS IIS Office 2000 FTP Veritas Backup Exec DNS VPN Familiarity with the following a plus: SQL Sever Mac Oracle NEC Phone System ODBC CDR-W Windows 2000 Multi-Media (audio / Video Compression Tools) UNIX Salary: $60,000 to $70,000 full medical, stock options PAID RELOCATION |
