Sales Engineer

A Sales Engineer, as part of the sales team, is responsible for evaluating customer needs and developing technical sales strategies to enable department to effectively service client accounts. Possessing a solid understanding of the technical aspects of the sales environment, the sales engineer provides technical support in the areas of network infrastructure, application and system issues throughout the sales cycle. Job requirements include developing and delivering high quality custom presentations and demonstration. Designing, validating and presenting advanced customer-branded/customized product demonstration, and third party complementary products where appropriate. Qualified candidates will have previous experience in a technical sales environment. Topological and architectural understanding of network infrastructure, general routing and switching, channelized digital service (T1, ISDN, Frame Relay, DSL, DS3, IP over SONET) experience required.
