| This is a managerial position
responsible for the technical and specialized aspects of producing
online "rich media" content, including capturing,
digitization, compression and editing of audio and video assets.
Establishes and maintains technical and qualitative standards for online
media production of the organiztion's products. Manages and resolves the
technical, software and hardware, and facilities aspects of all media
production. Oversees categorization and management of both
"real" and digital assets used and creates as rich media web
content. Serves site producers with engineering, tools and technical
personnel to deliver recorded and "live" streaming media
productions. May supervise media specialists, photographers,
videographers, and independent contractors. Typically, incumbent has one
to three years experience in a specialized technical field in multimedia
production and video editing and systems and years of project and staff
management experience; reports to the Senior Technical Producer. |
