| This position is accountable for both
technical delivery in an assigned area or for specific section(s).
Implements new and "refreshes" existing features for the
assigned section(s). Responsible for competitive analysis of similar
sites and content on the Web and in other media. Accountable for the
daily (or more frequent) implementation and performance of assigned
section(s) of the site. content can include written, graphical,
programmed, live events, video, audio, etc. Supports the Producer in the
preparation of scheduling, budgeting and coordination of asset flow
among technical producers, writers, designers, etc. Responsible for
section schedules and milestones. Leads the site's quality assurance
efforts (in the absence of a formal QA department), assigning necessary
fixes. Also assists with the execution of events related to the site.
May attend functions and conferences related to assigned subject matter
and keeps current in assigned areas. Typically, incumbent has one to
three years' experience with web production; familiarity with web
production tools and online content; and reports to the Producer. |
